I was born in North of France (Lille), in 1967.
I was 9 years old when my family moved to the south, French Riviera.
I've grown up in countryside, close to the Nature.
After a usual school courses, I spent two years in the University of Nice, studying Psychology.
Then, I felt very attracted by travelling : so I did travel. I have been living almost one year in the French Indies
and two years in South America (Venezuela). There, I worked by myself, doing and selling handicraft (jewellery).
The fact of being dived in a brand new world (what I was looking for !) did teach me to be
much more aware of my surrounding, opening some "doors" of perception.
When I went back to France, I experimented some aspects of Art : wood sculptures ; gouache.
Then I met RIC, a great painter and thinker. We travelled together to South of Spain and
I learned from him and books, how to draw and the classical oil painting technic.
The following years, I spent my time in creating oil paintings, drawings
using different mediums as charcoal, sepia, sanguine and pastels.
Three years later, I learned by myself the Art and Technic of Photography : it became more and more important
in my life. Details of Nature were my favorite subjects. Some friends invited us to North Germany. I started using
slides color film. I received such inspiration from the coldness effects on the Nature that the Photos became
my main activity by this time. I also worked on another kind of Photos, trying to explore the magnificence of the Light.
With the same spirit than for the previous photos, I developed what I call today the "Experimental Photography".
I never had my own laboratory, so I did concentrate my efforts on the "catch of sight" : how to reach a
"special-effects" photo in one shot, using lights, glossy materials, glass, color inks, and so on.
On that time, Ric and me started working together on photomontage and we produced
a few slides shows we performed on stage with live music.
Later on, with the idea of joining the several activities of pictures creations,
I settled a technic using drawings and photographs: the "Photographism".
Now I feel like insisting on the fact that all the creations we presented on this pages
have been made by hand, the photos have been realized with a rudimentary and old camera.
In 1999, we entered the electronic world, learning how to use a computer:
one of the first result is a CDRom based on our Internet homepages.
Today, the Graphic data processing enables me to establish an assessment
of the images which I carried out in painting, drawing, photography.
The Internet network makes possible to communicate and
share these experiments with the whole world.
