The
Paintings presented on this site
were all carried out according to the same technique: Oil-base paint on
canvas according to the traditional methods employed by the Flemings
and the artists of the Italian "renaissance".The principle of
this technique request a great attention
with successive layers as well as times
of drying (oxidation) which result in working in alternation on several
projects. Pigments, brushes, Linseed
oil without Media nor siccative: the simplest materials. The subjects
and models are of any origines and all natures.

Writing also plays an essential role :
each work is largely written, thought, theorized, before being realized,
which
by no means prevent from leaving spontaneousness to be exerted from
first feature of charcoal until the last
brush touch . The conception is very spread out in time and is carried
out
each time under different conditions:
the process can be carried out very
well in a very logical way (example of right-hand side), or to be the
subject of progressive construction (left example)....
